Hey guys,
I am interested in the possibility of either starting my own blog, or becoming an author to a friend's. But first I want to know about accessibility. Is this duable? Any pointers or tips on anything jaws wise? Can it even be done? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in Advance,
Ashley

Hi,
Both things you are interested can be done, with little or no accesibility problems. JAWS should work fine with whatever you want to use.
HTH,
Jeffrey

Do you mean on Blogspot? If so, that site is fairly accessible.

Namaste,

You can use blogger, Live Journal, or wordpress. Blogger and wordpress are the easiest.

Yeah that's what I was thinking of doing, I just wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any problems with jaws or accessibility since it'll be my first time doing it. I'm still trying to think of what I want for it, but I know people put things like images and stuff, so yeah.

I would highly recommend wordpress. ONe of the courses I am considering creating for the place where I teach in NYC is blogging and podcasting. Since free tools are the most affordable I am looking at wordpress for the blogging platform and cast for hosting the podcast. The wordpress support team is amazingly aware of accessibility issues and responds to those types of inquiries promptly and effectively.

They've got MySpace beaten then. I like MySpace, but their sensitivity to accessibility is crap.

Namaste,

Yeah I've kind of learned to work with my space and other sites that are somewhat accessible, only could use some improvement.

Ok, I have recently become an author to my friend's blog! This is really exciting for me, as I'm having to learn new things! However, when I am trying to post, I do not see where the message body goes. This is on blogger, can someone help please?
